our surgery and operating room  service are  responsible for offering general surgery services, Orthopedics, pediatrics
and operating theatre services. It is one of our clinical services and a medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on a person to investigate or treat a pathological condition such as a disease or injury, to help improve bodily function, appearance, or to repair unwanted ruptured areas. Services within include, wound dressing, suturing, operation, nursing management of pre and post operatory cases, drug administration, sampling of lab exams, immobilization in case of fracture, and IPC measures
The surgery department operates 24 hours per day and 7 days/7. It deals with surgical issues like wound dressing, management of burns and simple minor surgical procedures. Due to the actor that our institution does not have surgeon or orthopedic nurse, majority of causes that needs orthopedic or surgeon are transfer to other health institutions that can provide those services.
